Pre- Palin Speech Posting

What has Mika Brzezinski been smoking? The woman who was hailed for being smart enough to tear up a script about Paris Hilton thinks Sarah Palin "speaks to women?"

People are feeling sorry for Palin (b/c she's had to stand up to rumors on the Internet), and she looks confident, Mika says.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but those bad, bad, mean Internet rumors turned out to be kind of true - or true enough to get the Palin family and the McCain campaign to volunteer something...just...as...juicy. (see image above for subtle reminder)

Meanwhile, Politico's got an early glimpse at where Palin's taking it tonight:
"And I’ve learned quickly, these past few days, that if you’re not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone.
Um. No. A candidate's unqualified because she does not have the experience or qualifications necessary to do the job for which she has been nominated.

Palin's not just prepped to attack the media. She'll also insult community organizers:
I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities."
And at the risk of the creating the most disjointed Palin post of the day, I'd also like to add that MSNBC just interviewed a woman who said she thinks Sarah Palin is a good multi-tasker. I am not kidding. The woman - in a hockey jersey at the convention - said because Palin can balance kids and hockey, she thinks Palin would be good at the job.

We're not hiring a admin assistant here people. We are electing the Vice President of the United States of America.

Someone needs to remind these dolts of the gravity of the gig on the line. I'm officially disgusted. And frightened.
