My iHome's been defective since I bought it. The gradual alarm gradually increases in volume until it's not just waking you up but virtually daring you to stay in bed even one second longer. I could always turn it down until recently when the volume wheel broke altogether. I'm not even sure how that happened, but now it just spins and spins to no avail.
Anyway, this morning in my sleepy state, I commented that I desperately need a new iHome but wondered aloud if that was smart given the current state of the housing market. My signif - not even blinking at my sad, way-too-early attempt at humor - countered with the following: "Maybe you should just rent an iPartment for the time being."
