My personal reaction to the idea of more private insurance being considered as an alternative to a strong national public health insurance option was just that - my personal reaction. Keeping private insurance companies - even nonprofits - in charge of running the show does not accomplish what we need to make health care work for people.

This site has been growing and changing as I have over the past few years, and I've never felt the need to censor it in any way. However, there must be a distinction between what I say here as me and what I say on behalf of the coalition.
