Law and Order
Anyone else reading the "Who Killed Chandra Levy?" series in the Washington Post?
I was in NYC when she disappeared, and while it was certainly a story there, it wasn't nearly as consuming as I've heard it was here.
It's too early to say what we'll discover from revisiting the series of events surrounding Levy's death because the paper's unveiling the tale in pieces, but I do hope it manages to accomplish more than just being a high-profile murder revisited.

I remember it well. Condit got screwed. Bad karma's a bitch, but he didn't kill her or have anything to do with it.
As I remember it they pretty much know who did it, as there was a man who they had arrested for attacking joggers with a knife in the same area during that time period, but the cops so screwed up the case they'd never be able to prove it.
After the cops had supposedly scoured all around the hill in Rock Creek Park, I believe, where her body was found looking for evidence, but a reporter I believe walked up and found glaring evidence just laying in plain sight, like several days to a week later, or some such. The cops were so sure they had their man in Condit that they muffed the whole thing.
I used to live a mile from Key bridge in Arlington, albeit a long time before that crap went down, and I lived in Mt Vernon before that, but I was going to W&M when all that happened, but I sure read all about it. As far back as I can remember DC never had a police chief or a mayor that was worth a shit.
